Little Steps is very happy to have started our new school year off so well! We want to thank each parent for their help in making each new "challenge" and transition so smooth for our children. Little Steps has a few reminders to keep us going on track as we continue to tackle the next few months of 2020 together!
Infants
Remember to always call for pick up - no matter what time
Label all of your child's items.
Bibs, bottles, diapers, wipes - all of their belongings.
Be sure to bring enough bottles for the time they will be here and possibly an extra. We have had instances where parents ended up stuck in traffic or held back at work and we did not have an extra bottle to give when the time came.
We will be sending home thick blankets, per DSS we can only allow receiving blankets.
Toddler 1
Label all of your child's items.
lunchbox, diapers, wipes - all of their belongings.
Each child has to have AT LEAST 2 outfits to be left here in case there are any accidents throughout the day. We do not keep extra clothing and we will have to call you out of work to bring them.
We will be sending home thick blankets, per DSS we can only allow receiving blankets.
You MUST provide 2 sippy cups (milk and water). Children of this age do not know how to manage a water bottle and they make a mess during lunch and snack without the sippy cup. If you do not provide a sippy cup, you will be called to bring them before lunch time.
Toddler 2
Parents should be providing diapers and wipes asked for each month for their child, by the third of the month. We do not keep extras, we will call you out of work to bring them.

Little Steps does not serve sugar/sweets to the children nor fruit gummies as they have been deemed a choking hazard for children. Any sweets or gummies brought will be left in their lunchbox for them to have at home.

Preschool 1
Lunches such as pastas, mac&cheese, and oatmeal that take 2-3 minutes to prepare, need to be pre-made.

Parents, refrain from allowing your children to bring in any toys. Leave these items in the car, otherwise you will be asked to take them during drop-off.
Please remember to take blankets home every Friday! If they do not fit in their lunchbox, they will be in a plastic bag with their name next to their lunchbox.
